The Art of Decluttering
About The Book
Are You a Neat Freak?
Margaret is a regular person just like you and I. She doesn’t pretend to have all the answers to life’s mysteries. She is a wife, a mother and an office worker who came to realize one day that she need to take charge of her environment before she became buried. Her husband had been very patient with her, only occasionally mentioning how “messy” their home had become. She is a real example of just how much a person can implement change in their lives because she did it. What she managed to do in her own life prompted her to share what she learned with others hence “The Art of Decluttering.”
Margaret was raised in a typical home where Mom and Dad both worked and Saturdays were spent shopping and Sundays were house-cleaning days. Her entire family pitched in and they knew that the sooner they finished, the sooner they could move on to “fund stuff.” She wasn’t a clutter bug or a neat freak throughout school and college, just a pretty normal person like most of us. He challenges with clutter really didn’t begin until after marriage and having children.
Before she knew it she seemed to be buried in stuff. Family stuff. Work Stuff. School Stuff. All the stuff was taking over! That’s what prompted her to make positive changes in her life and how “The Art of Decluttering” was born. If you ask her she will tell you her most important accomplishment is instilling the sense of self-worth and pride her efforts have instilled in her children. Now the entire family has discovered how to live clutter free.
