How to Help Your Child Go Back to School
Janice swiped the sweat from her brow as she frantically checked the clock. With the baby on her hip and two lunchboxes open on the counter she was literally working against the clock.
If she missed the school bus, it meant hauling all the kids out, piling them into the car and delivering them to school, plus dropping the baby off at the sitter’s and pretty much insuring that she’d clock in late to work . . . again!
What ever happened to the grand plan that this school year things would be different? “We’re going to make it”, she muttered under her breath as she herded the children out the door just as the yellow bus pulled away from the curb! Defeated, she grabbed her purse and the diaper bag and managed to get each child strapped into their seats in her SUV and off she went to try and catch the bus at the next stop!
Have you ever been in this predicament? This isn’t the ideal way to begin an organized and stress-free day for a working mom. Sadly, we’d venture to say it occurs more often than we’d like to think.
When it comes to getting kids off to school in the morning, it seems like everything works against the parent trying to juggle a schedule that is insane to begin with.
And all this takes place before we even begin to think about how prepared they are for learning. Once the new school year begins we have all the fun of conferences, school program, sports and whatever else your children are participating in to give them a well-rounded learning experience.
Did you ever wish that somebody would give you an instruction manual on how to kick off the day productive?
Well, somebody did and . . .
We are happy to share it with you. If you are looking for rigid ideas cranked out from some well-oiled “think tank” you won’t that here. But, if you ARE interested in learning how one well-intentioned parent beat the back to school blues, we can do that!
Our author, Janice Witham, finally had enough of the chaos and decided one year that she wasn’t going to do it anymore!
She spent part of her summer analyzing what the problems were and why there was always a hassle with getting the kids back to school with the least amount of trouble.
After all, it’s not like they lived in a war zone or some third world country where her children had no advantages. They had everything going for them and it was just a matter of setting priorities and boundaries.
Well, once it worked for her family, how could she not share it with other parents who may have the same challenges she had. And “How to Help Your Child Settle Back into School” was born.
She figured it out and now so can you. Her guide is:
- Easy to read with no complicated stuff to learn.
- Gives you plenty of ways to eliminate the challenges.
- You can apply the content immediately.
- It’s a bargain and well worth the small price.
